This Freeze Dried Whole Avocado Powder is produced with great attention to the quality and ripeness of the avocados. Some mass-produced avocado powders are byproducts of avocado oil production and lack the oil component, which contains much of the vital nutrition that avocados are known for. One pound of avocado powder takes 10-20 fresh avocados to produce. This product is excellent for use in bar soaps, face masks, hair masks, smoothies, salads, Mexican dishes, or right out of the bag! It's recommended to use is a dry "just add water" formulation for cosmetics to prevent oxidation. For the best results, use packaging that prevents the transmission of light and a moisture-absorbing packet.

I loved the product, but way too expensive. I thought I would be saving myself the money and trouble from purchasing the avocado from the store and preparing it as a hair mask. I actually spent more on this dried and didnt get any where near as much as when I get the avocados from the grocery store. I myself will not purchase again unless they do a major price drop.
