Common Use: Ultra Fine Premium Activated Charcoal Powder is commonly used in the health and pharmaceutical industries. It can also be used as a colorant to make a variety of different products such as detoxifying-exfoliating facial scrubs and teeth-whitening pastes.
Soap: Typically used as a colorant in natural soap to create beautiful black or grey color shades. The activated charcoal powder mixes easily in water. Cold Process Natural Soap: Using approximately 1-1.5 Tablespoons per pound of oil will create a beautiful deep black without discoloring the lather. Add the activated charcoal powder to your soap batch at the beginning of the trace. Note that a small amount goes a long way so add carefully to achieve the shade you desire. Melt & Pour: Typical usage is 2-3 teaspoons per pound of melt and pour soap base. Again, note a small amount goes a long way so add carefully.
